Bob and Sam's Travels
This is becoming a long story:
In this section we will tell you about what we consider our major trips.
We have been on three cruises and retuned to western Europe in 2015:
The first cruse was to Alaska:
This was for our honeymoon, a few months after our wedding in 2006.
This page is in process. The only two stops yet to do are Victoria and Vancouver and the ship itself.
Our second cruse was to the Mediterranean:
Neither of us had been to that part of Europe and we looked forward to seeing new things. That was in 2009.
The last one was to the Baltic (2013):
We traveled from the 18th of June to the 3rd of July.
Sam has spent some time in that region, because of work. We explored a lot of sights that he has not visited and he shared with me (Bob) some of the exciting things he has already experienced.
We did our best to upload some pictures and stories while we were away so other folks, who may be interested, could travel along with us. That was a bit of an experiment and sometimes it worked and sometimes not. Our time on shore took priority over editing pictures and updating the site, but we were able to do some. The satellite web connection from the ship did not work out well so we did use some wi-fi connections on shore. Strange, but there were no such services in Germany.
The Concentration Camp site is one we worked on last - that was one of the highlight of the trip for us. Click here to check it out.
Europe 2015
This year we headed for Europe to visit with our daughter Nicole in Barcelona and as a side trip we are going to Paris for the first time and then to London on our way home.
Special:
Because we have so many pictures there is a separate page just for the Sagrada Familia and we hope to have another for the Louvre soon.
We hope you enjoy your adventures with us.

Nt: Except for the maps, all of the pictures in the body of these pages were taken by us, often through windows and we did have some rain; if you notice reflections or droplets on the pictures you will understand why. I am now trying to teach myself Photoshop and in that process I went back and tried to get rid of some of these problems.
