April 2nd we were on the Eurostar train, through the Chunnel and into London. To experience the Chunnel was on our bucket list - not very interesting, but at least we had the experience.
We had three sleeps in London. (Staying at Kensington Close Hotel) We didn't have a lot planned for our stay in London but we did go for a ride on the London Eye, a visit to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, and a tour of Royal Albert Hall and St. Paul’s Cathedral.

A magnificent building...
Our tour showed us how the building worked...It was fascinating! We stopped for lunch there as well. Very expensive but good food. |
This is a picture of the main entrance... To our surprise, reflected in the window, is the monument erected to honor Prince Albert...the monument is located directly across the street. (What great photography! HeHe ) |
Kensington Palace as seen through Kensington Gardens just across the street from RA Hall. The cabby who drove us form the airport told us that they had recently finished renovations so Kate and William could move in. He agreed that it was nice that they were able to find a place to live. |

We had a walk through the park and had lunch on the way. | This is a live nest in the middle of the Park. You may be able to pick out two birds and I think there is a young one as well. |
