On this trip we traveled with our friends Ernie & Stephen and Frank & Doug. The reason for us taking the trip was to mark our marriage in June.
We flew from Halifax to join our ship in Seattle, Washington. Frank and Doug came in by water taxi from Victoria, where they live. When we left Seattle we had a full day at sea on our way to the first stop the most northerly stop of the trip. We were notified that there was some typhoon activity in the southern part of the Pacific and we could expect some rough seas during that day. Since Bob gets sea sick on the sale to PEI this was a concern!
The ship did provide motion sickness pills for those who may need them. Needless to say Bob got a supply. We are pleased to advise that we survived without incident. (Truth is we could hardly notice any rocking in the ship.)
