The Eurodam
The Eurodam is largest of the Holland America mid-size fleet...not like some of the current "behemoths of the seas". On board are pools, a number of dining options (24/7), bars/discos, a theatre, a casino (last time Bob won $1,000 US, this time $62 US!!), the mainstage with new entertainment every night, and many, many more interesting things to see and do. Dining is first class...drinks are not too bad either! Room service is available around the clock. Although our cabin is small we have a private balcony.

The second night on board we shared a table with Maria and Anthony, a wonderful, gregarious, down-to-earth couple, and we just clicked. We chatted several times after that and got to know each other quite well. We dined together again on our last evening at sea ...it was hard to say goodbye! They live near Los Angeles and their life stories are very inspiring. We were hoping that some day soon they would come to Halifax for a visit; unfortunately that never did happen.
