The next day we arrived in Katakolon, Greece.
That day we traveled to the site of the original games then to a winery. At the end of the day we had a bit of time for shopping before boarding the ship.

Philippeion A lonic circular memorial of ivory and gold donated by Philip II. It was completed by Alexander the Great. (5) |

Prytaneion A rectangular edifice, it was the seat of the dignitaries of the Sanctuary who were responsible for the sacrifices carried out at the altars. (6) |

Kronion Thermae (2nd - 5th centuries AD) A large complex with many architectural phases and functions. Over the central court and baths of the Hellenistic period, rooms with impressive mosaics were constructed in Roman times. It was destroyed by an earthquake at the end of the 3rd c AD, with the last repairs made in the 5th c AD.(7)
