Barcelona
Day 4

On our way to catch the train we deliberately walked by this strange looking house...

The Casa Batllo, one of Gaudi's more popular in the city of Barcelona. You are able to explore the interior, however we didn't.

(A Google search of "Gaudi houses in Barcelona" will amaze you!)

Our adventure for today was a trip to Sitges, a small sea side village, referred to as one of the best gay beach resorts in Europe. There was not a great deal of "gay evidence", other than in a number of the people(!). We did do a little shopping, a couple hours exploring and enjoyed a wonderful lunch.

In the centre of the older historic district of Sitges.

At the beach...in March!!!

A church at the beach front.

At the Palua de la Musica Catalana in the evening where we enjoyed a performance of Beethoven's Fifth.
