Barcelona
Day 3

This is one of the Gaudi houses that Nicole passed every day on her way to class.

Park Güell

Sam and I visited this park on our own.

Gaudi lived in this house from 1906-1925 and it is now the 'Gaudi House Museum'.

This house is at the entrance to the park.

Two examples of the vast mosaic use in the city.

The Monumental Flight of Steps

Nicole's Apartment Building

Someone is at the door...

...apartment door.

...main entrance.

At the top end of Las Ramblas Catalunya

This is a sculpt of what might be a dragon but it looks more like a giraffe relaxing...not quite sure what it is. The plaque did not help to clarify. Just weird enough to include here.

This was directly across form our breakfast stop...MickeyD's.

The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya,

abbreviated as MNAC, is the national museum of Catalan visual art located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Just after dark we attended a most spectacular water show!

Nicole, her roommate Charmian, and Luis, the proprietor of their favourite local neighbourhood eatery.

Our meal of local Spanish cuisine was delicious and huge value for the price.
