We visited the Mercouri Estate winery as part of a tour offered by the cruise line. This was a very pleasant surprise. If we had been visiting on our own we certainly would have stayed longer. The winery is a first class operation located in a beautiful setting. The tasting was very good, and the quality of the wine much better than expected. Not being true aficionados, we just know what we like and what appeals to our palate. We liked what we tried so we purchased two bottles to take back to the ship to enjoy. The wine tasting took place under the shade of trees with tasty Greek snacks complementing the wines... a wonderful ambiance.
