In the past I have been very active, politically and as a social support person, helping to deal with LGBT related issues such as recognition of same sex relationships and having Gender Reassignment Surgery approved as an insured service in Nova Scotia.

Archery:
A few years ago I rekindled an interest in archery. I am now certigfied as an archery coach with the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) and the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
I continue to work and train to develop my skills and knowledge to become a more effective coach.
Snowboarding:
This is a sport that I really did love.
In fact, I was so committed to the sport
that I became a certified instructor.

Accounting:
I have a BBA with a major in accounting (StFX '74).
I think these systems are beautiful and I love to talk about them.
....this may be a bit weird; perhaps I shouldn't admit to it!
